Frame Damage
Often vehicles are being sold by dealerships with a known
frame or other body damage. If such a condition
exists, the selling party is obligated by law to give the
buyer a written statement disclosing the fact. If
your vehicle has a frame damage it is probably valued at
30-70% of the price you have paid for it. In
addition, this kind of damage can cause serious safety
concerns. We can advise you on this case and
estimate your financial losses and recover up 9 times the
amount in punitive damages.
Vehicle Purchase or Lease Finance Tricks
Often dealers will release the newly purchased or leased
vehicle to the consumer under conditional approval on the
finance. In most of these cases the dealership ends
up bumping the price on the vehicle blaming the financing
bank or the customers "poor credit".
If
your purchasing, financing or leasing process
is taking more than several hours, it is very
possible that you will end up better off
consulting with an attorney who knows "all the
tricks" used by dealerships. As in most
cases, in intentional fraud or attempted fraud
situations we often get the attorney fees paid
by the dealer.
Previously Limo, Taxi or Rental Vehicles
Vehicles used as
taxi cabs, limousines or rental cars often have excessive
high mileage, are valued at 20-60% compared to vehicles
not used for commercial purposes. Failure to
disclose this information may result in financial loss on
your part, as your resale value will drop significantly.
